Delete Your AccountaBible Account

AccountaBible is a Bible-reading accountability app published by FaithDev. This page explains how to request that your AccountaBible account and its associated data are deleted.

How to request deletion

From inside the app (fastest):

1. Open AccountaBible and sign in to your account.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated data are deleted immediately.

By email: if you can no longer sign in, email info@faithdev.co from the address associated with your account with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove all personal data we hold for you, including:

• Your email address and the display name you chose.
• Your cloud-stored reading plans and reading logs.
• Any accountability groups you created and your memberships in groups you joined.

Reading plans and logs created without an account are stored only on your device and are never uploaded; deleting the app removes them.

What data is kept, and for how long

We do not retain any of your personal data after deletion. Deleted records may persist in encrypted backups held by our backend provider (Supabase) for up to 30 days, after which they are permanently overwritten. We keep no data beyond this period.
